The oldest White Tailed Eagle in the world. It was ringed in 1980.
It was born in Estonia, but seems to live in Sweden. It was seen last week feeding on a carcass, the previous sighting was 13 years ago.

White-tailed Eagles by Renno Nellis

(This photo was taken at the eagle feeding ground, where a cam lets the world  watch the activity, but it was taken by Renno who spent a whole day in the blind taking photos and notes on the visiting eagles.)

This is Timmu a young White Tailed Eagle who has sort of tumbled out of his nest. He gave a little jump, an attempt to move from a branch back into the nest and he missed. So he has fallen down into a smaller tree. Hopefully he will soon be able to fly enough to get to a bigger branch because as you can see there is not much room where he is currently sitting for a food delivery.

This photo was taken by an eagle expert who got just close enough to see he did not seem to be hurt after his fall,

Collecting a White Tailed Eagle (one eagle chick is taken from nests with 2 chicks  in Norway and sent to Scotland to return eagles to their former habitat because in 1918 the last WTE was shot in Britain)
