The oldest White Tailed Eagle in the world. It was ringed in 1980.
It was born in Estonia, but seems to live in Sweden. It was seen last week feeding on a carcass, the previous sighting was 13 years ago.

White Tailed Eagle (and Ravens) at the Feeding Ground by Urmas

This is Timmu a young White Tailed Eagle who has sort of tumbled out of his nest. He gave a little jump, an attempt to move from a branch back into the nest and he missed. So he has fallen down into a smaller tree. Hopefully he will soon be able to fly enough to get to a bigger branch because as you can see there is not much room where he is currently sitting for a food delivery.

This photo was taken by an eagle expert who got just close enough to see he did not seem to be hurt after his fall,
